First of all I'm probably one of the eldest people on this board. (So stop calling all of us kids) What does upset me, however, is how francis is spoken about sometimes, and what pig says about Kurt. I have been a nirvana fan since (virtually) their inception. Age and musical taste don't mean anything and it's pointless to defend people you don't even know. People have different opinions and if you can't accept that then you really are stupid. Most people are idiots - this board is a perfect example - but it has nothing to do with saying bad stuff about Kurt, Courtney, Frances or other posters. If you think this is some kind of community then you clearly have no life. It's just you and your computer screen, ok? Getting worked up over what someone you've never met said about some other person you've never met is ridiculous to say the least. Most of what people post here is pettier than playground talk. No one cares whether you were offended. No one cares about how much you love Courtney or Nirvana - it's BORING AS f**k. Why do you think most forums have moderators? To get rid of nasty posters? Or to keep all the conversations nice and "safe". |

While I find Rocket's & the Pig Woman's banter amusing and entertaining, shouldn't we get down to the serious task in hand of hating Courtney Love rather than hating each other?
I am also a sad middle aged ex-courtney fan, and I don't mind admitting it. I was struck off from Hole.com a few years ago for suggesting that Courtney could do with a little less collagen (I thought she was beginning to look like an old trout). I hope to make some friends here and to join in with the fun. I need to register but haven't as yet thought up a good enough name. I'd like something really dirty - maybe the pigwoman could help me out? My husband left me five years ago and I miss him very much. You see I was a Courtney fan for a long time. After getting married around the time that Live Through This was released I bleached my hair like Courtneys and started wearing bright red lipstick. I had a little baby boy but I look back now and see that I was a bad mother. I was really selfish and too preoccupied with Courtney and trying to be like her. I started going out to see locals bands and to be a rock chick. I'm sorry to say that I slept with a lot of young and old musicians which I regret now. But at the time I was trying to be a lot like Courtney. It will also not probably come as a suprise to you that I also got into drugs. With time I got myself a little smack habit but it didn't bother me too much then, because I knew that Courtney did drugs so I thought that is was cool. To fund my smack habit I started stealing from my husband, my family and my friends and sleeping with guys for drugs. Ignoring my child. I hurt a lot of the people around me but I couldn't see that then. Eventually I got in trouble with the police - shoplifting and I was put on an addicts program to wean myself off smack with methodone. It took me about 4 years to get clean but I think that it was only about a year ago that I realised that Courtney Love wasn't so great and that I'd been a complete idiot to think so. By that time I had lost my little boy and may never see him again as I don't know where he or my husband are. Thanks for reading this and sorry if it's a little depressing.
Courtney Love is a C U N T - There, I feeling better now having said that. I think the pigwoman and others will be proud of me. Most of all, can I say to the young girls out there that Courtney Love is a really bad role model and that there is nothing to admire her for or her life. She certainly doesn't rule, she wrecks lives. Everything about her and what she stands for is evil. Please learn something from my stupid wasted life.
When I think up a good name I will register. My friends call me Billie. Thanks for reading.

I'm probably a lot older than you and you should really do some deep thinking before telling people how great Courtney Love is and posting stupid pictures of her. How about posting a few pictures of some dead drug addicts, uh? How great would that be? Ever seen what a dead drug addict looks like?
Yeah, Courtney Love and I share many similarities: We've both been drug addicts and we've both lost our children due to the fact. How great is that? Does that rule for you in your little world, miss world? Or has your celebrity obsession blinded you to the rest of humanity?
Yeah, go on say it, but it's not Courtney's fault! Open your eyes for christ sake and stop being such a kid! This woman has done more for drug use than the whole campaign against it. She should be publically disgraced and discredited and never be allowed to show herself in public again.

okay, she has done drugs and i have seen dead drug addicts. my friend who was addicted to every drug she could get her hands on for two years got herself clean, she's now 17 and is clean and happy. i'm not praising her for her drug addiction, you've missed my point. i admire courtney because shes come out the other side of it all. whatever you do don't patronise me at all, because i'm younger, i've seen a lot more than some of the people on this board, and i'm not saying you before you get in a piss.

Thank you for being so honest about your troubles and I'm sure many people wish you well in your life now and hope things get sorted out with your little boy. I have a child too so I am trying to relate to how you must feel. However, I feel you shouldn't have taken that stance with missworld. MISSWORLD IS NICE. Yes this is an anti-courtnery board but people who like courtney also come on here to keep the balance right and to share what they like about her. Her MUSIC. Yeh, most definately courtney has really done some stupid irresponsible things during her life. But it was unfair of you to take it out on missworld. I for one like the pictures that are posted here. I like Holes MUSIC but I'm a bigger Nirvana fan- just for the record. Why am I here you may ask? answer- see my previous posts.
