the only thing boring on this forum is the fights put up by courtney fans. but anyway. yes courtney did heroin during her pregnancy. she said it herself. yes courtney killed kurt. courtney is a negative role model. if you don't believe that you have some problems. courtney love is madae of more plastic than a barbie doll. courtney is not nancy spungeon. in utero is an awesome cd which has some great songs about how terrible courtney is to be with so yes. this was inspired when she tried to ruin nirvana's recording of In Utero. well those were really boring ideas because they have been debated before.

Did Courtney Love take heroin during her pregnancy?
Yes she did, although at the time if true Courtney fashion she lied and claimed that she’d stopped. I’d go with Hirschberg’s story because she cited no fewer than 20 music sources close to the Cobain’s at the time. Furthermore, 5 days after Frances Bean was born someone leaked a copy of Courtney’s medical record to the LA Times, which showed that she’d undergone a methadone program while in the hospital. Caught out, Courtney had no choice but to finally admit it.

Did Courtney kill Kurt?
Evidence strongly shows that she may have had something to do with it. Even Leyland Cobain, Kurt’s Grandfather, has come around to the idea (after being presented the evidence) that Kurt wasn’t a suicide, and that perhaps Courtney has something to do with it. If anyone wanted to murder Kurt, then she had the strongest motive since she stood to gain the most. It’s not usual for spouses to murder each other and Courtney does have a very long history of violent behaviour, and monstrous will to try and get whatever she wants… But, without re-opening the case, we’ll never know.

Is Courtney a positive or negative role model?
Is a devious, deluded, conniving, pathological liar, violent, stripping-hooker, junkie turned rock star / actress a positive model, you tell me? If she’d changed her ways she might have been, but reports show that although the face may have changed many times, she hasn’t. Why do you think that she lost all those celebrity friendships that she used to shamelessly namedrop all the time? It became very obvious in July when she was found walking the streets, in a drugged hazed, that nobody cares for her. Think about that one. Where were her family and friends, you have every right to ask? I guess the mothers of America wouldn’t think that she was a good role model, but I guess an immature high school girl with a fascination with self-destruction might think she was cool. I certainly don’t.

For someone who started out preaching punk ethics, she certainly sold out pretty fast.
You have to hate yourself a great deal to have had so many operations, that should tell you something about Courtney’s state of mind. She’s terribly insecure and is a famewh0re who craves constant attention. She should have stopped with the surgery around 2000, instead of going on to look like a scary drag act a la Amanda Lepore.

Courtney Love is Nancy Spungeon.
Both were sad stripper-hooker-junkies turned groupies in their desire to be ‘somebody’ through leech-like attachment to prominent musicians. Both have sad stories. Both have shown signs of severe mental health issues. I guess, we’ll have to wait until Frances writes the “I don’t want to live this life” type of book. I has been said that the Sid & Nancy story repeated itself in later years with Kurt and Courtney. Only here the talented one died and the Nancy one finally got her wish.

Is In Utero about Courtney?
Don’t know as I’m not a big Nirvana Fan. But I do know that she insisted that she inspired the song "Crush With Eyeliner" that appeared on the 1990s R.E.M. album "Monster", when the band have denied it, and they should know.

Regardless of what I think of CL, I just cannot understand how any reasonable person could see her as a positive role model. I mean, people here go on about how she "survived" but she's still a f**k-up! You can like her music and her lyrics but she's saying one thing and doing another. Actions speak louder than words and her actions so far have been pretty nagative to say the least.

It's not like she's a hostage in Iraq or that anyone has forced her at gun point to take all these drugs over the years... I'm as mystified as you, Kobob, at what she's survived?... Do you think they mean, survived countless plastic surgery procedures? Could that be it?! But then again, even that was her choice. Everything she's done, she's done to herself...

All the evidence suggests that yes she did before she knew she was pregnant- the early stages. After she knew she tried to give up and was on methodone. Only courtney and her physicians know the truth if she began to shoot up again. Remember, Francis was born a healthy baby. But again we can only speculate as to the truth.

NO. if there was an ounce of doubt, the cops would have investigated and turned over every stone. Ask yourselves, would courtney risk having a hand in kurts death knowing that if she was to be found out she would go to jail. No way. kurt killed himself. RIP

Positive or negative role model?
In the early days when Hole were in their heyday, courtney was certaninly something to be recokened with. She bought to the forefront a new type of image the strong matriarchal type donned with pretty baby doll dresses. A determined woman who had the balls to say f**k you and not worry about the reprecussions. The drug taking-NO. Def not something to aspire to. But it's called addiction. Anyone here been addicted ? Well if you have, whether is to cigs, booze or something else you will know how hard it is to cope when you are addicted. she has admittely tried to clean up her act, but has failed pretty miserably time and time again. However, things are looking better for her now and therefore francis.

She looked far better without all the plastic surgery.. She's spoilt her 'uncoventional beauty' with stuff that she didnt need. Big Shame.

Courtney is far more wised up than nancy ever was.

Of course when a musician is in love and writing a record at the same time, the influences of his life including his loved ones are going to be mirrored in his writing.
