Even if it is her "best friend" that doesn't make it okay. Just because he's a friend doesn't lesson the humiliation Frances will feel when she sees that picture, nor does it make that kind of behavior alright.
What is this "best friends" name? What's his occupation? How long have they been friends? Or are you full of sh!t? Wait until you lose your buzz before you answer. And take two aspirin. Excedrin is best. Believe me, I know. ;D

i haven't found a valid reason to "hate" courtney anywhere yet.  Then you just haven't been looking. Theyre are reasons everywhere but you just push them aside as lies cause you refuse to believe them. |

I don't "hate" Courtney or anyone else for that matter. Hate is a powerful emotion and if it takes control of you, it wears you down, poisons you, and turns you into a ball of anger; anger is an exhausting emotion when used imappropriately. What I feel for Courtney could be described as pity; this is a woman so desperate for attention that she will use any means to get it, positive or negative, as long as the attention is focused on her. She refuses to yield the limelight to someone else and has a way of twisting things to justify her actions. A person this desperate for attention obviously has big problems and needs help.
To her credit, she has been clean of drugs for 90+ days; she is frequently drug tested and has been photographed going in and out of AA meetings, so obviously, despite her craving for attention, she is trying to get clean and I respect that. As a recovering alcoholic/drug addict myself, I know how hard it is to get clean and stay clean and anyone who can do it, taking one day at a time, deserves respect.
What I don't respect is her refusal to take responsibility. Instead of coming forward and saying "Yes, I f**ked up; I'm soley responsible for the reprecussions of my actions and for that, I'm sorry." Instead it's everyone elses fault. She didn't spend all of Kurt's money, the bank did it. She didn't attack Kristin King, it was Kristin's fault. She didn't have illegal drugs, it was a prescription...and on and on it goes. Drugs are expensive. Remember that awful show of the 70's, The Love Boat? One of the cast members, Lauren Tewes, had made millions of dollars from that show and admits that all the money went up her nose. By the time she was fired she had nothing left. The drugs had wiped out her fortune. I strongly suspect that's what happened to Courtney, which is why she published Kurts Journals; to recoup some of her losses. But a paltry 4 million dollars just doesn't cover it. She also admits that Frances trust fund has "practically nothing left," in her own words. When Frances comes of age, she better pray that she's not sued by her own daughter for those losses.
Musically, Live Through This was brilliant. Courtney and the rest of Hole proved themselves to be talented, every bit as good as Nirvana, albeit a different style. Celebrity Skin, while very different from Live Through This, was also brilliant. Can she sing? Absolutely. But her shows were wrought with stripping, flashing, foul language, and violence. One person even died at one of her concerts. None of this vulgarity was necessary. She could have pulled off a good show without flashing her tits at the world. Nobody wants to see that except the lowest kind of person.
As for the link to Kurts death, she has yet to say anything to defend herself nor has she said "I didn't do it." In one concert she sang a song dedicated to "Michael" and sings "We did it; we killed him. We killed him, yeah" as if she were boasting about her part in it. She refused to do Nick Broomfields documentary, further incriminating herself, and makes journalists sign an agreement stating they will not ask her about her part in Kurt's death. Why doesn't she defend herself? It's obvious from the evidence that Kurt was murdered. If she's innocent, why doesn't she get on the trail to help find his killer? What is she hiding?
Hate her? I can't. Pity her? I can't help it. Suspect her? Definately! I think she knows something about it and it's time she broke her silence with the truth. Until she does, she's going to continue her downward spiral despite her best efforts and in the end, her guilt is going to kill her.

Pretty on the Inside kicked Neverminds ass but In Utero is better than Celebrity Skin.  Pretty on the inside sold about 60,000 copies. ;DNevemind sold one million copies after its first weeks of release.;D In your opinion Pretty on The Inside may be better but statistic wise Nevermind was better. Nevermind was also more influential. |

f**k YOU SURE! I never said Kurt was like Sid, his not that f**ken stupid. I was basically comparing Courtney to Nancy. Something that she use to do regularly. Don't call me a retard just because you misinterpreted what I said. Who really cares how the mainstream remembers Kurt anyway? Kurt was underground. Kurt was pure. Not MTV genarated. How can you possibly say that Pretty on the Inside is better than Nevermind? Sure Pretty had great lyrics that were insightful and bittersweet but it just doesn't compare to Nevermind. What I was trying to say is that Courtney will probabley be remembered as a rockwife not a musician. f**k you Sure!
