In this maze of life I was hopelessly lost
and then somehow our paths crossed
In a short time you got inside my heart of stone
bringing happiness I have never known
when I have a problem you always have an open ear
Even more important... you listen, as well as hear

You picked me up when I was down
and turned my world completely around
you give me respect and support that I never had
making me feel that, on my own, I can stand
you found your way into my head
and brought back to life a part of me I thought was dead

Because of you I can honestly say
I look forward to each and every new day
It sounds so surreal it could be a story of fiction
but I know it's real and still it's become my unreal addiction
though I can't explain this, it makes perfect sense...
It only takes one person to make a world of difference
