Troubled rocker COURTNEY LOVE is determined to make 2004 her year - by cleaning up her act while turning her new album into a smash hit.

The former HOLE frontwoman wants AMERICA'S SWEETHEART to mark a turning point in her life when it is released on 9 February (04), as she recovers from her alcohol and drug addictions.

Courtney is still battling for custody of FRANCES BEAN - her child with late NIRVANA frontman KURT COBAIN - following her arrest in November (03) after an alleged incident at a house in Beverly Hills, California.

The 39-year-old says, "This coming year will be an opportunity for me to get my life back together.

"I am a musician and that is how I want to be remembered. By carrying on with my music will mean that I have something to focus on and do well with.

"I know have been labelled as a bit of a waster in the past. All that I want to say is from now on all will be well."

Okay so it wasn't quite the year she had hoped. 2005 is another year....I'm waiting for Jan 12 when her pre-trial is continued. Think Courtney's going to do time or get another slap on the wrist?

Okay, I gotta ask; Are you Dylan Carlson? I, and other posters, really appreciate your news article postings. Do you know her personally? Or just an Anti-Courtney who likes to keep us abreast?

yes! yes! tell us. it'd be wonderful if you were him. lol. you know i am very interested about courtney's trial like hippiechild said as well. i think courtney deserves some time. it might to her some good. my goodness martha stewart is doing time yet courtney was out taking drugs and beating fans and ex-boyfriends girlfriends and is all she gets is a slap on the wrist as said.
