Actually, one of our pro-Courney's got an attack of "the sybils" so there aren't as many supporters as you think.

When will either of you two groups, (the lovers, the haters) realise that no-one cares, and no-one's opinion will be changed from a crappy internet forum?

It is for reasons that nobody else cares that forums like this exist; because the ones who do care can come here and talk about it freely. It's nice to come to a forum and talk to people who share the same particular interest and to know that people like me are very concerned about this too. Talk about it among friends, or even acquaintances provides a great deal of relief and listening to other peoples point of view can be enlightening. We debate, that's what adults do. Occassionally a post-pubescent brat like yourself will barrel her way in here, louding spouting how we have no lives, when in fact this particular brat was up quite early on New Years day, of all days, to tell us we're the idiots. Hmmm, no date last night?

You are not only a brat you are not a very good reader or you would realize that music, be it Nirvana, Hole or any other band, is just a small part of what we discuss here. Your telling us to get a life? Details and reasoning seem to fly by you unobserved while you try to top yourself on what's the best cuss word to use next in an effort to offend us. You not only need a life, you need a quality one, so I would suggest you slow down, look around you, and try to take in your surroundings and clarify what's going on before you comment. You are a sad, sad little creature, my friend. You don't even warrent the effort it would take to tell you to f**k off. Your just not worth it.

People talk about what interests them. It doesn't have to change the world. You are just being arguementive. If your not happy here than leave but don't tell others to leave it's their choice to come here. The world is never going to change through any interent forum anyway.

I am willing to allow the idea that Hole are overated due to the fact I don't think they would be as well known today without their flamboyant and controversial frontwoman but I don't think Nirvana are. Nirvana were the last great band that actually ment something. Ever since Kurts death musically everything has been going down hill. Then again maybe I'm just bias on the idea of Kurt being overated. But I'd like to see if you Fudgerella could write a song as good as a Nirvana one.

Any arguments about which band is better are stupid and a waste of time. Unless you're a poser of course. I spend most of my money on music but I don't feel the need to talk about why I like this band and not that band. If you care what people think about your tastes then you are nothing but an attention-seeking sheep.

A lot of people here say stuff like "blah blah blah could never write a song as good as Kurt - he was a tortured genius" or "Courtney may do bad stuff but I'd like to see you write music as good as her". Guess what? These aren't arguments - it's all just personal taste. Popularity and good reviews in music mean nothing. Use your ears.

how the f**k can you say nirvana is crap? just because you guys have a hate for courtney, dont take it out on the musci that revolutionised teh punk scene!! if we didnt have nirvana, we wouldnt have things like blink 182, the killers, britney spears even!!! (and we all know how much we love her)
