No, I really can't say that I am anti-Courtney in any way. As I have said before somewhere, I do not know her personally, and therefore I am not in a place to judge her. All I know is that I like some of Hole's music, and that's all that matters to me.
I don't understand why you would want to spend your time hating her so much? Do you know her personally? I do understand that it's because you are Kurt fans, but still.. He wouldn't have wanted you to hate her!
And why can't people seem to express themselves in a way for others to understand? Useless comments and posts like "omfg i fkn hate f**kin courtney lol she sux" don't really make sense to me. Don't tell me your opinion if you are not willing to back it up with something.
Now, I know a lot of Nirvana fans out there are going to hate me for not hating Courtney, and frankly; I don't care. If you really are this narrow-minded, I don't want anything to do with you in the first place.

YAY Someone finally sees it from where I'm coming from. I'm not anti Courtney because I like some of her music but that doesn't mean I agree with her violence or her drug use. I find Courtney quiet an interesting character so that's why I post about her. I'm a neutral Courtney too. I'm not an insane fan Hole fan but I don't hate either.

Oddly enough the forums about Nirvana that i have seen very rarely can be bothered insulting Courtney. Some of them like her music then others just say she doesn't mean anything to them. I think most Nirvana fans don't have a problem with Courtney.

Nice post, Dirtgrrl. I agree, Kurt is not God, he was a man. A very talented, sensative man who had his ups and downs, his good days and bad days, his good side and his dark side like the rest of us. His death is a tragedy because his work was unfinished; he was an artist in true form, both in music, painting and poetry and my feeling is had he lived he eventually would have pursued a career in art and probably would have been a success at it. Unfortunately, he never had the opportunity. Also I firmly believe he would have divorced Courtney, filed and received custody of Frances and would have been happy raising her, perhaps remarried and had other children and settled down to just being "dad." He didn't commit suicide because he would never leave the daughter he loved so much.
So welcome to the board, Dirtgrrl. The more the merrier. ;D
