:'(Look I don't hate Courtney Love or even feel mildly angry toward her. But I have to say that Americas Sweetheart sucked really bad. That album was so weak and thin that it's almost impossible to listen to. Why does Courtney keep making these sort of records? She needs to get back in contact with the angry and poetic Courtney of the Live through this and Pretty On the Inside days. Americas Sweetheart is appalling. It's just bad.  |

And yet your here....interesting. Courtney Love is a very controversial woman and this board doesn't just "slag off" on here. There are many people here who defend her, and there are people like me who find her fascinating, yet hardly above suspicion in certain cases. Yes, she is a very troubled woman--which of us hasn't been troubled in the past--and the difference between her and the rest of us is the fact that she put herself in the limelight years ago. When celebrities put themselves out there this sort of thing is expected. As to your last line in your post.....I'm not touching that one. I'll let pigwoman take it! ;D

it makes me so mad that people are so pathetic as to start up a whole web page just to slag off a woman who has been one of the most influencial women of our life time! I saw her music video on MTV the other day for "Mono." I gotta say, even though it's not my style, it was pretty decent. Her voice sounds rough due to all her smoking but it gave it an edge that was rather appealing. The song itself was rather good too. I'm more of a Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Nirvana fan but I must say, for what it was, it wasn't bad.  |
