k, here is the deal, i just found this website today, and i found that people actually think courtney love is talanted, at first i was laughing thinking it was a joke, but the more posts i read the more a realised that peeps actually think tha. why???
this is a talantless biatch who is part of the stupidest band i have ever seen, i mean if u listen to their music, it sounds like people dying, compare it to any body that has had more than 1 album out(exluding 1 hit wonders) they suck, seriosly, if ur looking for insparation, go to the red hot chilies, linkin park or even metalica. but to go to hole, u must really be fulla shiet, or jus deaf....

You know, I am no fan of Courtney Love, but you really have to separate her music from the idea of her wasted life and the fact that she married Kurt Cobain. Everybody has theories (Read Love&DEath if you like thinking that C.L. had anything to do with K.C.'s death) about everything. Let's look at it this way... trying not to ramble.... she got knocked up, he was nice enough to marry her. Two hardcore heroin addicts do not make good decisions... another point. If Kurt had not died, and he were still WRITING SONGS FOR HOLE (listen to Live Thru This...think about it), then some of you might like Hole, but only because the lead singer would be married to Kurt Cobain.. And only because you are unhealthily and quite superficially obsessed with Kurt Cobain. Another point. If he had not died, and quit the music business to pursue art, as he planned to do, you would not be here. You would not care about Nirvana. Yeah, I think he was murdered, or at least was shot after overdosing on heroin, but then again that is not the matter. The world lost a revolutionary mind, not a Jesus figure that 16 year olds have created from reading the Tenth Death Anniversary Spin Magazine Articles and do not even remember and probably did not listen to when they were four...

I doubt you could look me in the eye and tell me that Teenage sleeper isn't the most unsettling thing you've heard since Patti Smith recorded Piss factory. Besides what's considered talent is about taste. I love Rackmaninoff but you'd most likely believe it's nuts//ty Russian piano clasical crap. You need to divorce the woman from her music. Besides you're actually insulting Eric Erlandson there not Courtney Love because he wrote most of the music. Remember people are able to have their own opinions and they're alot of people who think Nirvana are the most overrated band in history and you'd most likely disagree with them. Let people have their opinions and don't ram yours down the throats of others.

That's not an arguement because it's about patriarchy. That's one of the reasons Babes in toyland weren't as big as predicted as well. Haven't you ever noticed that female musicians are marginalised?

That isn't alternative music and even someone like Madonna is marginalised because she played up her sex to become as famous as she is. Go and ask a female musician about how they feel about the music industry. They'll you tell they've been kicked out for bands for being female and made to wear little dresses. Some female musicians of the 80's were even offered brest impants by their record companies otherwise there was no sale.

Also I might add that of you had of stopped and read my above post you would've have discovered that I believe everyone has the right to like what they like. But you can't expect someone not to say anything to you when you have choosen to not respect their decision in the first place. I understand that everyone has a different idea regarding what they believe is good music. I respect that. Music is afterall what you what you want it to be.
