This is not being used to say Courtney didn't kill Kurt. I found this and they are emails that Courtney has done to someone and they discuss this issue. I think there interesting just to know where her head is at. pw1.netcom.com/~dperle/nirvana/clc.html

Doesnt look like anything she's written before grammer and spelling is acceptable for the most part and since when has she signed her name using Cobain even when they were married she would only use Courtney Love... How did this person get C Love's email?? Im not going for it. Probablly made by someone who has too much time on their hands and wants a lot of attention.

I'm also not buying it. Nothing that 'she' writes in there is new - all the information supposedly written by CL is information that is all out on public record, therefore making it easy to manipulate into looking like it's been written by Courtney Love. Not even remotely convinced.
Courtney fans are a pretty desperate, sad, deluded, and twisted bunch: Hell, there's even some signings from 'Miss Love' on this board! The internet is full of information, and open for innacuracies, misinformation, and deceptions.
However, the published word (print) is widely and more commonly open to libel. For Wallace and Halperin, and furthermore their publisher Simon & Schuster (part of the mighty Viacom group) to put their necks on the block, says enough to me until I am shown otherwise. I assume that the information collected in Love & Death has been scrutinised by their lawyers to protect the publishers from an expensive Courtney Love libel suit. You can figure the rest out for yourselves, but in short I'd go with Wallace & Halperin. Why has Courtney Love never sued? Surely, she could do with the money, now more than ever. The poor ol' wh0re will then be able to afford to pay her hotel bills...
I've read some pretty lame theories on Cobain's death, steming from Dave Grohl pulled the trigger; Nirvana's Management Company organised it; Wendy O'Connor did it; it was the Mafia; you can write your next one in here; etc Most of these theories I read on Pro-Courtney Love / Hole / Nirvana boards and forums.
I still ask myself what is it about celebrity that makes people refuse to consider the possibility that a woman who once wrote in a letter that she'd 'stabbed a girl because she didn't like her looks' wouldn't be capable of organising the murder of her husband for money? There's no refuting that Courtney Love's behaviour at the time (the letter sampler in her backpack, her staged overdose and arrest, her relationships with Hawthorne, Terry, etc) are highly suspicious. There's no denying that the circumstances of Cobain's death are also highly suspicious. With the heroin levels, certainly not a cut and dry case of suicide.
Furthermore, and this always gets me, Courtney defenders always attack Tom Grant (the main source behind the murder theory and Wallace & Halperin book) but overlook the fact that Grant's suspicions were founded on suspicions given to him by Rosemary Carroll, Kurt and Courtney lawyer. Now why hasn't Rosemary Carroll, partner in a large and powerful law firm, sued Tom Grant if he is, as some claim, 'spreading lies and trying to make a fast buck off Courtney Love's reputation?' Ask yourself that.
So many questions.
Whatever happens something is gonna give, because now that Love doesn't have a fortune to defend herself with, the murder 'theory' is going to escalate to a point where somebody is going to have to respond. Does anyone know when the new documentary is coming to the US?

Go Andrea! Let me add this; Rosemary Carroll placed a call to Tom Grant a few days after Kurt's wake and showed him some very harsh evidence. Courtney had left her backpack at Rosemary's house and when the lawyer went through it she found a "to-do" list, one which listed "get arrested" the day before Kurt's body was found. Interesting. She PLANNED to get arrested as easily as one might plan to pick up a quart of milk at the store. This evidence is just too d-amning to overlook. It was also interesting how, when the case went to court, there was a simple, logical explaination to everything; hindu good luck ashes, a doctors prescription pad left at the room, an "allergic reaction" to prescribed xanax (something Courtney took this past year, by her own admission. hmmm....I thought she was 'allergic'?) How convenient. Also the 911 call came from Courtney's room, as if she were the one who placed the call. She was conveniently in Exodus rehab center when Kurt's body was discovered. Nicely planned, in place.

Everyone has their own feelings about kurt's death. And noone knows what really happend but kurt himself. In my view i feel kurt killed himself (only becoz i've read the book heavier than heaven) and even tho i dont reli like courtney much, she did save his life at one point so i dont think she killed him. Read the book and sum up the answer for yourself. But honestly noone's gona know the truth see-ing as kurt is dead and he is the only one who knew what actually happened...

Nik,
Did you know that Heavier than Heaven was commissioned by Courtney Love (as was the Poppy Z Brite book) and that a lot of people around Cobain at that time refute the information in that book?
Something worth thinking about. Axx

Hey Andrea, good to see you!! When you have a chance, could you PM me? There's something of the utmost importance I need to talk to you about and you don't have an account here, so I can't pm you. Thanks
