Pretty much what this board is about is debating the "Murder Theory" pertaining to the death of Kurt Cobain, the man whose group "Nirvana" made grunge a household name. Evidence has come to light these past ten years that Kurt may have not committed suicide but was murdered and staged to look like a suicide and the finger of suspicion points to Courtney Love. One thing that's the primary focus on is the heroin levels in his blood which was THREE TIMES the lethal dosage, so high in fact that even a hardcore junkie would have been instantly incapacitated; yet he rolled down his sleeves, put the heroin kit away and pointed the gun and pulled the trigger. Ok, if your serious and you genuinely want to know, I'll tell you what I can before my hands cramp.

The most important thing that stands out in all of this is the level of drugs that was found in Kurt's system. He had a blood morphine and valium level of THREE times the lethal dose. When your dealing with heroin that's being injected the minute it hits the blood stream it turns to morphine and acts instantly. With a triple lethal dosage in his system he would have been dead, or at least immediately incapacited. Yet his sleeves were rolled down, the drug paraphenelia put neatly away, then he supposedly picked up the gun, positioned it in his mouth precisely, and pull the trigger. Medically, this is impossible, even with the most hardcore addicts. Furthermore, when a person OD's most of the time he doesn't have a chance to pull the needle out of his arm before he is overwhelmed and the body let's go of everything and the victim is encased in vomit and feces. Kurt was lying on his back, gripping the shotgun so tightly that the coroner had to pry it out of his hands, neat and tidy and, as the electrician said later, looking like his hair had been combed. The fact that he was gripping the gun is also strange, since many gun experts agree, including Ted Nugent who is an avid hunter and Leland Cobain, Kurt's grandfather who is also a hunter, that the blast would have sent the shotgun flying out of Kurt's hands and across the room. Why was he gripping the gun instead? The wound itself left very little blood; the bullet was lodged in the roof of his mouth and his facial features were pretty much intact.

That being said, let me move on to why Courtney is so suspected. First, she was facing a divorce. There was a prenuptual agreement and if they divorced she got only what was hers and got everything that was his. But if he died, she got it all. Also, Courtney was enraged that Kurt had pulled out of Lollapalooza, forfeiting approx. 9.5 million dollars and the way he pulled out left it impossible for Hole to take his place. He was planning on leaving Courtney, the music business and Seattle and getting some quality back into his life.

The fact that she was facing a divorce doesn't alone bring suspicion to Courtney but in 1997 a man named Eldon Hoke, a.k.a. El Duce, lead singer of the porn-metal band The Mentors came forward and said that in December of 1993 Courtney had approached him and offered him $50,000.00 to blow her husbands "f**kin' head off." Hoke was a somewhat pathetic creature, a known alcoholic and his story was somewhat doubtful. In 1998 the tabloid TV show Hard Copy wanted to interview both Tom Grant, Courtney's former P.I., and El Duce. When Grant refused Hard Copy offered to pay for Hoke to take a lie detector test, and brought in the country's leading expert of polygraphs. To everyone's amazement, Hoke past with the highest score possible. When questioned if Duce could have beaten the test in anyway it was ruled out; the test is so accurate that even psychio-paths can't beat it. There was no way Hoke could have been lying.

ive gta say ive met sum losers in my life but u guys take the biscuit. it is ALSO well documented that kurt was suicidal at the time and a well known saying of his was "ITS BETTER TO BURN OUT THAN FADE AWAY" DOES THIS NOT BEEN ANYTHING TO YOU? it was even in his suicide(/farewell! lol) letter. wot u kiddin yourselfs 4. kurt did indeed rock but you should let him rest in peace. he LOVED courtney and would roll in his grave if he heard so called nirvana FANS talkin about his wife in this negative view.

Lucy, to start with, this is what makes your argument so moronic and uninformed:

(1) Kurt loved Courtney. Really? Then why had he instructed Rosemary Carroll to start divorce proceedings? Why did Courtney ask Carroll who was also her lawyer to find her 'the meanest, most vicious divorce lawyer' Why has Dylan Carlson, Kurt's best friend also supported these facts? Why was Kurt changing his will to omit Courtney if he loved her so much?

(2) Kurt was suicidal? Then why were all his friends shocked and suprised to find out that Kurt was dead? Why does his Grandfather, Leyland Cobain to this day believe that Kurt was not suicidal was suspects foul play? Not to mention others who suspect the same.
Incidentally, All the 'Kurt was suicidal' stories over the years originated from Courtney herself. It is well know that the woman is a pathological liar as she has demonstrated in the past when people have take the time and trouble to research the facts and verify them.

(3) Your assumption that everyone here is a Nirvana fan is also idiotic and incorrect. I for one am not and there are others. It might be hard for your tiny undeveloped mind to grasp the fact that people may dislike Courtney Love for her violent behaviour, her outspoken use of drugs, her incessant fameWh0ring, her irresponsible parenting skills, her absurd media manipulations, her unhinged delusions of greatness and her general attitude of being above the law.

Beautiful and talented? Both matters of opinion. I do not think that she is beautiful pre or post plastic surgery - I've seen better looking drag queens in the type of wh0rish clothes that Courtney tends to choose for herself. I'd hate to think what you may look like if Courtney Love is your ideal of beauty - I'd select Uma Thurman or Salma Hayek if I had to choose a celebrity that was representational of beauty, but that's my opinion. Talented? I'm sure that a Britney Spears (vomit) fan would argue the same thing about Britney. Not heard many bonafide musicians ranting and raving about Courtney's genius - the only perosn who keeps harping on about it is Courtney megahype Love herself.

Jealous? Yeah, i'm really envious that I wasn't a juvenile hooker; that I haven't been a drug addict; that I haven't stripped in seedy clubs; that I don't have a father who hates me in public; that I don't have numerous self-caused law suits to settle; that if I had a daughter, that I haven't lost custody of her, twice; that I am suspected of conspiring to murder; that I frittered away a $40 million legacy and am now broke; that I am ridiculed on television and in the media; that I have hideous surgery scars under my breasts; that I'm a bad mother; and that millions of people hate me. i thank you for your reply Andrea i do know both sides of the argument and all of the things you have already said. to be honest i dont think we r ever going to find out how kurt do die (well not 100%). so consequently, i think that whether you think it was suicide or murder is matter of opinion. i respect your opinion but obviously do not agree.

i still think love is ace and her music rocks. so hate me or pity me for this if u like?
