Who could murder their own husband? And.. Get away with it? How could someone murder a highly talented artist, their loving husband, the father of their child, a man greatly loved by many of the world? In fact, how could she even murder someone??

Courtney, if you are reading this.. how does it feel to have murdered some one? to have taken away your daughters father..? living with it everyday, haunting you every night.. seeing his face in your daughter.. seeing the pain in her eyes.. knowing that you caused that pain..?
Imagine what its like for your daughter at school, when the kids ask why she hasnt got a dad.. what about when she finds out? what are you gonna do then?

I hear Frances was asking for her father when she died and Courtney told her the "truth" that he killed himself. That is disgusting.

Woo hoo! Move over Piggy, you have competition! All Hail the goddess ILATO. But I'm catching up to ya. Only 122 posts to go. ;D As far as what Courtney told Frances I think that's pretty awful. If my husband were to die, suicide or otherwise, I would have explained it by saying "God wanted him because he has work to do in heaven. He's an angel now and he's watching over you." Or something along those lines. To tell a two year old he killed himself, whether it's the truth or not, is unforgivable. What does a two year old know about death? Now that Frances is older, can you imagine the horrible images that go through her head? Can you imagine what she must feel thinking her daddy didn't love her enough to stay, that he "blew his head off"? How cruel. Tom Grant was recently on a talk show (I forget which one) and stated that he is about to release some "smoking gun evidence" that may very well force the case to be reopened. I'm dying to see what it is. He hinted that it has something to do with Allen Wrench, which he previously stated it was a hoax. He also had a theory; a can of Barq's rootbeer was lying next to Kurt's body and diazapan (sp?) otherwise known as valium was found in Kurts system along with the heroin. He thinks someone slipped the valium into his drink, then when he was knocked unconscious they shot him up with heroin and shot him. Valium, mixed with heroin, makes it twice as potent and likelihood of death is increased. Thank God he was unconscious; hopefully he didn't feel a thing. God rot the person responsible for his death. Sooner or later everyone's time comes and this person, whether it's Courtney or someone else, will get what coming to them. I hope I'm still alive when it happens. I adored Nirvana and I want my pound of flesh, the same as every other Nirvana fan. 121 posts to go, ILATO! ;D  |

good post hippiechild. i was listening to the box set a while ago and it just makes me sad. everyone , well the media at least, portrays kurt as such a depressed, hopeless musician but he wasn't. as i watched the dvd that came with the box set ( which i highly recommend ) i realized how much he enjoyed music. the scenes of him, krist and dave laughing with eachother as they play "seasons in the sun" is very touching if that doesn't sounds cheesy. i just hope someday the case is re-opened and whoever did it gets what they deserve.

Frances use to wake up screaming at night for her father. What is wroug with telling your child her father died and went to heaven? It's not like she can tell Frances he went out to get some milk. She can't lie to Frances. It's not like she turned around to Frances and said oh your father blew his head off.

Courtney told Frances how her father died and many people on kittyradio admired how she told the truth. I dont know about anyone else's concept on raising a two year old under those circumstances but I know I wouldnt tell my daughter how he died.Not until she was old enough. |

Maybe Frances woke up screaming because Courtney told her how her daddy died. Why the hell would anyone tell a two year old " your daddy shot his head off." At age 12 Frances could probably handle it, but at age 2? That's cruel.
Author Poppy Z. Brite stated once that she overheard Courtney telling Frances when she was 2 "Your father was a loser. Can you say loser?" Nice thing to tell a 2 year old.

that's horrible. but what would you expect from courtney when she sais stuff like "i wished she never married him". its so terrible. she probably tells frances a lot of things like that to look good. its so sick because kurt was so much better of a parent then she'll ever be. he loved frances.

I guess Courtney felt that she had been lied to some much by her parents that she wanted to tell Frances the truth. We can all make judgements about the way other people raise their babies but I guess Courtney rationalised in her head. I know that Courtney actually told Frances that angels had taken her father and that he wouldn't be back. She always told her daddy loves you.

you can't blame courtney's bad parenting on her parents. if she was sad and angry why would she take it out on a two year old. i heard her message after kurt died to the fans. she said some horrible things. i understand why you say she was angry but she should've expected it to happen right? seems how she later said that kurt had been suicidal but never thought of telling those close to him about it. she didn't care. because all she thinks of is herself.

true. sure my parents have disagreements but they always try not to bring me into it plus they've never even said some of the things i've heard courtney utter about kurt. i understand fighting but the threats courtney has said to people are not understandable.

Gee you're lucky. When my parents divorced all they did was insult one another in front of me. I can see Courtney feeling even worse. Her husband killed himself for gods sake. Besides if it was true that they were facing a divorce than why wouldn't she call him a loser?
I'm not really defending Courtney I'm more defending parents who have made mistakes by saying bad things about each other in front of their child.
