I think it was murder. But you can't just shove these things inot people. All those books and sites. Eh. Money.
Don't get so passionate about what Kurt would of wanted. You guys don't know him, he doesn't know you guys.
It's pretty likely that Kurt was suffering from undiagnosed depression for a lot of his life and that would explain things like not being able to feel happy on stage and his suicide.
