If we approach this argument through the lense of Hume we find that causes are equal to effects. In this case, if being a skank is infact the effect of Courtney Love's existence (the cause), she is therefore bound by her "skankyness." Even so, applying hume's method to the person who dedicates a website to a such a theme would result in a just inference of skankyness also. Therefore, I pause and ask the question... What's the velocity of an in-laden swallow?

Consider this: We are talking about a woman who obsessively tries to control the way that she is portrayed in the media; who commissions and pays writers to put out lie-o-graphies distorting her life and depicting it in a falsely glamorized and often inaccurate manner; who tries to suppress unfavorable opinions about herself on web forums with moderators who ban you if you voice your thoughts; who in the past has threatened and used physical violence against journalists who have written unfavorably about her.
Nobody is more deserving of a public forum where people can say what they like, than Courtney Love with her Stalinist methods of celebrity. Let our voices be heard. Why do we do it? We dislike her and we are exercising our democratic civil right to voice those dislikes if we choose to. Why should we tolerate trashy celebrities with f*cked up values of aggression and deviancy when we wouldn’t want to advocate them for our children, or in the society that we live in? Is that so hard to understand?

Andrea that is an unbelieveably level headed way of explaining this to them but they are probablly gonna try and change what you said around and say "You compared her to Stalin". They take things the wrong way and always try to make it seem that you are wrong anyway IF YOU HAVENT READ ANDREAS LAST POST READ IT NOW

why do I keep coming here? I do have negative feelings toward this site because I think people should talk about what they love and not insult someone they've never met. I think that's pretty weird. This was the first thread I ever started and it's still popular. Wow. No, I stay here now because some of you guys are pretty funny.
