I was browsing Kitty radio today and came upon an interesting post which might interest you guys. There was a fan on the site who believed that Courtney was going and is suffering because of her pursuit for beauty. The idea being that Courney has had so many nose jobs that it's effecting her voice and making her sound drastically different. And we can all assume that different isn't goo.
Oh Courtney when will learn. It really does look like she's prizing the way she looks over her art.

Bree, that was an excellent post. You are right on the money with that one. I couldn't agree more with what you said about body image and the media bears the most responsibility for that. They have projected the image of beauty as being Britney Spears and the implication is if your not like her, your not beautiful and that is totally unfair, especially to the impressionable young. In later years it affects them sometimes in eating disorders, or in the case of Courtney Love and Michael Jackson, major plastic surgery to attain that "Perfect" look that in reality just doesn't exist. The media needs to be more open to who people are, rather than how they look and concentrate on people who are beautiful on the inside; true inner beauty always projects itself so nobody is truly ugly.
As for Courtney's voice, it's the smoking and probably a result of her cocaine days combined. Cocaine is very hard on the throat and her raspier tones are a result of constant throat irritation. I kind of like her raspier sound; it's almost like Marianne Faithful.
To work I go. I'm dipping strawberries in chocolate. I love my job. ;D

THIS JUST IN:
Courtney Love's voice has changed from Croaking Happy Frog ugly to Criket f**king a Spider ugly....
The Green House Effect, and change in the Earth Temperature has been blamed for this tragic event.
This is a great loss to Tone Deaf People Everywhere, and they are demanding immediate explanation from the Government.
